Ft. Frederick
April 4-5  Garrison Weekend, 1st Virginia Regiment, Fort Frederick State Park
Hours are 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Members of the 1st Virginia will garrison the fort and demonstrate the life of Continental soldiers during the Revolutionary War. For information call 301-842-2155.

Ft. EdwardsApril 19  Fort Edwards Colonial Feast
The Fort Edwards Foundation marks the anniversary of the Battle of Great Cacapehon of April 18, 1756. Celebration includes a history symposium and a catered Colonial Feast. Ft. Frederick April 23-26 18th Century Market Fair, Fort Frederick State Park
Hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Thu, Fri, Sat and 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Sun. Now in its 15th year, the Market Fair features the best artisans, craftspeople, and sutlers together with an 18th Century encampment. For information call 301-842-2155.

Hager HouseMay 2-3  "Museum Ramble" at Hager House
This special weekend will feature a no admission open house along with a fun scavenger hunt for the family to complete as they walk through the Hager House and Museum. Also on site will be a French and Indian War encampment with reenactors in period dress. Sat. 10-4, Sunday 1-5

May 2 -3 American Revolutionary War Garrison Weekend, Fort Frederick State Park.
Hours are 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Riflemen of the Continental Line will garrison the fort and demonstrate the life of American soldiers during the Revolutionary War. For information call 301-842-2155.

Ft. Frederick
May 16-17 British Revolutionary War Garrison Weekend, Fort Frederick State Park.
Hours are 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Members of the 17th Foot, 33rd Foot, and 76th Foot will garrison the fort and demonstrate the life of British soldiers during the Revolutionary War. For information call 301-842-2155.

May 23-24  Garrison Weekend - Joshua Beall's Maryland Company, Fort Frederick State Park
Hours are 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Members of Beall's Company will garrison the fort, perform living history demonstrations and explain the life of soldiers during the French and Indian War. For information call 301-842-2155.

Fort NecessityMay 30-31  British & French Encampment, Fort Necessity
French and Indian War reenactment groups will encamp in the Great Meadows, answer questions throughout the day and demonstrate the use of black powder muskets.

Ft. FrederickJune 6  Colonial Children's Day at Fort Frederick State Park
Hours are 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Interpretive staff and volunteers conduct a day of hands-on 18th Century skills for children. The event is open to children ages 8 to 12. There is a service charge and registration is limited. For information call 301-842-2155.

Hager HouseJune 25 "Herbs of Hager's Time" Hager House Museum
Take a walk through the Hager House gardens and learn about some of the herbs commonly grown at home in Colonial times and their medicinal uses. 7 p.m. Free.

Ft. Frederick
August 15-16 Brigade of the American Revolution National Encampment, Fort Frederick State Park.
Hours are 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The Brigade of the American Revolution, an International organization composed of British, American, French, and German reenactment units, will encamp at Fort Frederick. The weekend will feature a variety of living history and tactical demonstrations. For information call 301-842-2155.

 Hager HouseAugust 29  "Colonial Family Fun Day" at Hager House
Come participate in a day of Colonial Games for families. Learn about the pastimes of families on the frontier and compete against other families in a fun filled field day. Guides in colonial attire. Registration required. Please call by Friday, August 21st to confirm your space. Entry fee $5 per family (1-2 adults + children; includes tour + activities). 1:00 pm -4:00 pm. Weather Permitting.

August 29 - 30  French and Indian War Muster, Fort Frederick State Park.
Hours are 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. 18th Century French, British, and American Indian reenactors assemble for a weekend of living history and tactical demonstrations at Fort Frederick State Park. Period crafts and vendors will also be available. For information call 301-842-2155.

Ft. EdwardsSeptember 12-13  Fort Edwards Heritage Day
10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Saturday; 12 noon - 4 p.m. Sunday. Annual festival celebrating the French and Indian War in Hampshire County; part of Hampshire County Heritage Days. Displays, music and food. Colonial reenactors and crafts people. Maryland Forces will be in attendance. Note location - at the Bottling Works in Romney. Call (304)496-8845 for more information.

Sponsored by the Friends of Fort Frederick State Park, Inc. Take a walk through the haunted forest, fort, and barracks. The program begins at 7 pm and all visitors who arrive and are in line by 9 p.m. will have an opportunity to experience the walk. For information call 301-842-2155.
